Sarah Hall, who has had character and ensemble roles in a variety of shows including PCT’s “Gypsy” in both 1991 and 2016, “Annie” (1992), and “Our Town” (1991) portrays Gwendolyn Pigeon. Gwendolyn, a widow, is one of Oscar and Felix's giggly upstairs neighbors, a pair of English sisters. In real life, Sarah is married and has a daughter active in the performing arts. A Frontenac resident, she is a stay-at-home mom and co-owner of B&R Electric. She’s excited to be part of a small, all-adult cast — a departure from the large casts of her youth. Sarah loves cooking, reading, and supporting her daughter’s interests. Tickets are on sale now at www.memorialauditorium.org! #PCTOddCouple
MJ Harper, who wowed audiences with her powerhouse vocals as Mama Rose in this summer’s musical, “Gypsy,” brings Cecily Pigeon to life. Cecily is a divorcée and one of Oscar and Felix's giggly upstairs neighbors, a pair of English sisters. In real life, MJ is an elementary music teacher in Ft. Scott. She’s been on stage since she was a little girl and frequently performs with the American Opera Studio in Kansas City, sings in the FUMC Chancel Choir, plays violin with the Southeast Kansas Symphony Orchestra whenever possible, and teaches private lessons in piano, voice, and violin. Jason Huffman, of Arma, has designed, constructed, and directed multiple shows for PCT and Midwest Regional Ballet, and has been involved with more than 90 shows in his tenure at Memorial Auditorium, where he currently serves as technical director. This time he’s on stage! In addition to serving as the show’s set designer, Jason portrays Speed, a gruff and sarcastic poker buddy who often picks on Vinnie and Murray. He enjoys movies and gaming with his son, who is also an active performer. Tickets are on sale now at www.memorialauditorium.org! #PCTOddCouple
Beverage, anyone? A cash bar in the lobby will be available at our four performances of "The Odd Couple!" We'll have beer, five kinds of wine, and mixed drinks for sale before the show and during intermission. Tickets are on sale now at www.memorialauditorium.org #PCTOddCouple
Brad Stefanoni, of Pittsburg, brings to life Roy, a poker buddy with a dry wit who also is Oscar's accountant — not a stretch, since by day Brad is the assistant director of purchasing at PSU. A big fan of "The Odd Couple," he had been hoping for a role in it since January, when he purchased a script and began reading lines. He is a longtime audience member of PCT, where his wife and two sons have been active in shows. Brad began his own stint as a performer last fall as the bartender in “My Way,” and since then has appeared in shows at Joplin Little Theatre and Stone’s Throw Dinner Theatre. He loves the outdoors and is an avid hunter and fisherman. Tickets are now on sale! Visit www.memorialauditorium.org #PCTOddCouple
Mark Johnson, a professor in the College of Technology at PSU, always loved the story of “The Odd Couple,” including both the movie and the TV show. Cast as Vinnie, one of the poker buddies who is mild-mannered and henpecked, he's an easy target for verbal barbs. Johnson’s PCT performance resumé is lengthy and includes such roles as Grandpa in “Grapes of Wrath” (2014), Judge Danforth in “The Crucible,” (2006), Bob Ewell in “To Kill a Mockingbird” (2013). Johnson also consults with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage and Motion Picture Employees as a master trainer in teaching their apprentice trainers how to teach. Kevin Pommier, a graphic designer/screen printing group leader at Extremely Outrageous Creations, is bringing to life Murray, an NYPD policeman — one of Oscar and Felix's poker buddies — in “The Odd Couple.” Kevin’s 20 years in performing has included roles like the Cowardly Lion in “Wizard of Oz” (1999), Nicely Nicely Johnson in “Guys and Dolls” (2009), and Prince Harry in “Once Upon a Mattress” (2000). In real life, Kevin lives in Girard, sings in a barbershop chorus in Joplin, and can solve a Rubik’s cube. Tickets are now on sale at www.memorialauditorium.org! #PCTOddCouple
Michael Doue, vice president of Exchange State Bank in Girard, is portraying Oscar Madison, one of two lead characters in "The Odd Couple" and a slovenly, recently divorced sportswriter. It’s a stretch for Michael as in real life, he is much more like Felix: a bit of a neat freak with everything organized and in place. Michael is a veteran PCT performer, having just wrapped production on “Gypsy” this summer as the male lead, Herbie. He’s also had character and ensemble roles in “Secret Garden,” (1999) “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” (2002), “Into the Woods” (2004), “The Music Man” (2006), “Annie” (2014), and many others. Tickets are now on sale at www.memorialauditorium.org! #PCTOddCouple
Chris Stonecipher, an on-air personality at KKOW Radio, is portraying one of our show’s two lead characters, Felix Ungar — a fastidious, hypochondriac photographer whose marriage is ending. Chris loved the Jack Lemmon-Walter Matthau version of the show when he was a child, and performed excerpts from "The Odd Couple" as Felix when he was a high school forensics competitor. A native of Grove, Oklahoma, he calls Pittsburg home now and enjoys karaoke, video games, podcasting, Netflix, writing, reading, and music. Tickets go on sale Monday at www.memorialauditorium.org! #PCTOddCouple
