introducing: Cecily Pigeon, the divorceé

MJ Harper, who wowed audiences with her powerhouse vocals as Mama Rose in this summer’s musical, “Gypsy,” brings Cecily Pigeon to life. Cecily is a divorcée and one of Oscar and Felix's giggly upstairs neighbors, a pair of English sisters. In real life, MJ is an elementary music teacher in Ft. Scott. She’s been on stage since she was a little girl and frequently performs with the American Opera Studio in Kansas City, sings in the FUMC Chancel Choir, plays violin with the Southeast Kansas Symphony Orchestra whenever possible, and teaches private lessons in piano, voice, and violin.
