Introducing: Greg Shaw
Director Greg — or "Shaw," as his students and cast typically call him — has a Master’s degree in Speech and Theatre Education from Pittsburg State University and is the theatre teacher at Pittsburg High School. He serves on the board of Pittsburg Commtunity Theatre, where he has directed and acted in shows. He also has been involved at The Theatre in the Park in Kansas City since 1996, first as an actor in Footloose, The King and I, Big River, and more recently as the director of Godspell, Fame, West Side Story, Grease, Footloose, The Wedding Singer, Aida, and All Shook Up, which won the 2010 Demmi Award for best show. His wife Angie and older daughter, McKenna, also have been active in theatre; it’s possible that one day, younger daughter Marley may be, too. Come see the fruits of Shaw's labors when the curtain goes up on "Junie B. Jones, The Musical," March 25-26! #PCTJunieB
